A round table was held on the topic "Tragic years left in the memory of the people"
At Atyrau University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov, together with the Atyrau Regional Department of internal policy, the State Archive of Atyrau region and the project Office of the Regional Commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression of Atyrau region, a round table was held at Atyrau university on the topic "Tragic years left in the memory of the people", dedicated to May 31-the day of remembrance of victims of political repression and famine. The meeting was attended by Deputy akim of Atyrau region Marat Murziyev, the leadership of the Atyrau regional branch of the Amanat party, members of the «MIRAS» public council at the Atyrau regional branch of the Amanat party, the composition of the Regional Commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of repression of Atyrau region, descendants of victims of political repression, the Department of internal policy of the institution "Kogamdyk kelisim", members of the scientific and expert group of the APK, school teachers, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, local historians, the staff of the State Archive of Atyrau region. During the event, the following participants : doctor of historical sciences, professor Zhami Tanatarova, doctor of historical sciences, professor Leskali Berdigozhin, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Zhumaziya Zhumabayeva, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Serik Kuanysh, doctor of historical sciences, professor Ulzhan Akhmetova, head of the Department of the State Archive of Atyrau region Raisa Tastemirova, candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Shakhman Nagimov, candidate of historical sciences Gulfayruz Kairgalieva made presentations on various topics. In addition, the conference presented a monograph by Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakhstan and world history, candidate of historical sciences Zhumaziya Zhumabayeva.
